Become a Volunteer.

Restore dignity through presence and consent-based touch.

Why Volunteer?

Many residents in long-term care facilities experience profound loneliness and isolation.

A simple, consent-based gesture of human connection can reduce anxiety, increase well-being, and restore a sense of dignity.

As a volunteer, you become part of a trained community offering presence where it is needed most.

Hear from Our Volunteers

“It is deeply fulfilling to be able to connect in such a way with people who may not have the support and human contact that they need towards the end of their lives.”

— Yael, Volunteer

“I’d definitely recommend volunteering with CTT. Everyone there is really great, and you can tell they truly care about what they’re doing. I’ve met some amazing people so far who have taught me a lot. Visiting a resident each week is something I really look forward to, and I always leave feeling happy and glad that I got to spend time with them. It’s such a rewarding experience and feels good to know I’m doing something positive for my community and the people around me.”

— Vanesa, Volunteer

“There have been so many wonderful moments in the last few months of offering CT. One thing I witness weekly is the energy shift in the resident before and after our session. Often when we arrive the resident is not smiling and appears tired and/or sad. There is a distinct look of calm and relaxation when we wrap up. Often they are smiling and their mood has lightened.”

— Vida, Volunteer
